01
Actively practicing Ohio surgeons
Each expert is in active clinical practice and meets Ohio's competency rule for medical expert testimony, Evid.R. 601(B)(5).
-
02
Ohio standard of care
They practice in the same communities as the care at issue. We never assign an expert from the same hospital system as a party.
-
03
Available in person
Depositions, IMEs, and trial testimony anywhere in Ohio. No cross-country travel to schedule around.
-
04
Ohio procedure
Familiar with affidavits of merit under Civ.R. 10(D)(2), Civ.R. 35 examinations, and Ohio workers' compensation claims before the BWC and the Industrial Commission.
Where we work
Depositions, IMEs, and trial testimony in Columbus, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Toledo, Akron, Dayton, Youngstown, Canton, and the rest of Ohio.
Services
Affidavit of merit review
We review the medical records and identify the standard of care and causation issues. If the case has merit, an Ohio orthopedic surgeon reviews the records and can execute the affidavit required by Civ.R. 10(D)(2).
Expert testimony, plaintiff and defense
Written reports, deposition testimony, and trial testimony. We work with plaintiff and defense firms. Every case starts with a conflict check.
Independent medical examinations
Civ.R. 35 examinations in personal injury cases and IMEs in workers' compensation claims. Exams take place in Ohio. Reports follow the format counsel requests.
Medical record review and chronologies
Organized chronologies of orthopedic treatment, imaging, and surgical history. Useful for early case evaluation and deposition preparation.
Subspecialties
We match each case to a surgeon who performs the procedure at issue. Common areas include:
-
Spine surgery
Fusion, discectomy, laminectomy, failed back surgery, and cauda equina syndrome.

Hip and knee replacement
Failed implants, malposition, infection, dislocation, and revision surgery.
